Complete Application Form of ELA of The University of Auckland

Instructions to apply to the English Course

You need to send us the following documents:

1. Application Form

Download and complete the application form. Do not forget to sign the form.

2. Passport Copy

Clear Copy of the identification page of your passport. The passport must be valid for 6 months after the first day of classes.

Admission Requirements:

Requirements to apply to the English Program at the ELA of the University of Auckland:

  • English Programs for adults in Auckland. Be at least 18 years
  • Have available funds to pay all program fees

Send all documents to a representative

A representative will check that all your documents are correct

Send the application form of the english course, plus all documents to email uauckland

We encourage to send the documents with at least 2 months in advance. Contact our representatives for more details


The University will send you the admission documents and payment information

It takes around 1 week for the University to send you the admission documents.

After sending the application form, the ELA will email you an offer. Your offer will include an invoice for all fees.


Student Visa

You may have to apply for a visa to study in New Zealand

In New Zealand you can study up to 12 weeks if your country of origin is in the list of countries free of visa (In the following link you can see the list of countries: https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-zealand-visas/options/visit/explore-visitor-visa-options).

If you wish to study for more than 12 weeks, you will need a student visa. The working holiday visa has different eligibility requirements depending on your country of origin and the annual cost.
