I am not a student in my country, can I take this language program with a student visa F-1?
Yes, these English programs are open for people who are not currently studying. You must be at least 18 years old (17 years old are accepted but must have a parent/guardian in USA)

How do I Apply for a Student Visa if I take the English program?
Please apply for your F-1 student visa early. In some countries it can take several weeks to obtain a visa from the U.S. embassy after you have received admission from the University of Denver - ELC
The University sends you the I-20 form, which is used by the student to apply for the F-1 student visa. The Language School issues the Form I-20 for study at one the Programs offered.
Once received your documents, the University will process and send you an admission letter and the Form I-20 via certified mail. Sign and date the Form I-20 when you receive it.
Check the website of the U.S. embassy of your country to see the steps you need to do to apply for the student visa F-1. Generally, you need to submit the Form I-20, your admission letter, financial documents, passport, SEVIS receipt and any other required documentation (such as transcripts or academic records) to the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate. When do I have to pay for the English Program?
Initially you should only make the application fee payment. Then, the payment of the program must be paid in full before the first day of the session. Students will receive instructions on how to register and pay the tuition.
Can I work in Denver during my studies?
With a student visa, you can work up to 20hrs/week only on DU campus, however, the jobs on campus are offered to undergraduate students only, so it is not possible for you to work during your studies.
