SEMI-INTENSIVE ENGLISH COURSE

These flexible programs are design for students who want to improve their English language level at their own pace, and balance classroom sessions with free time activities, with students choosing for how long they wish to study. The course is available from Elementary to Proficiency level and students will be placed in a class suitable for their levels. Do students need a High School diploma to apply? Can they apply if they are still in High School?

No, they do not need a high school diploma, as students under 18 years old are also accepted.

Is there any deadline to apply?

There's no deadline to apply, although in some cases due to visa requirements, Kaplan recommends applying a few weeks in advance. You must also keep in mind that courses might not have vacancies if you apply with too little time in advance.

How is my English proficiency level tested?

Students take a placement test the first day of class.

Do I need to submit a test score or a transcript when applying to these ESL courses?

No, your English proficiency level will be determined by the placement test. However, for the English for Academic Purposes program you must’ve taken the IELTS test beforehand and you must’ve achieved a minimum score to be able to apply.

How long is each lesson?
